Privacy policy

ClassSynk Technologies Private Limited ("ClassSynk", "we") provides an education management platform to schools and other educational institutions ("institutions"). Institutions decide what information to store in ClassSynk and act as the controller of that information. We process it on their behalf.

Account details such as names, email addresses, phone numbers and roles, provided by the institution when it registers students, teachers and staff.

Academic records such as classes, attendance, marks, timetables, calendar entries, announcements and any custom fields an institution chooses to add.

Technical information such as sign-in times and device notification identifiers, used to keep accounts secure and deliver notifications.

Only to provide and improve ClassSynk for the institution that owns the data: running its dashboard and app, sending notifications it requests, securing accounts and providing support.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use student data for advertising.

We share data only with service providers that help us run ClassSynk, such as hosting, email and push-notification providers, under contracts that require them to protect it, or when the law requires it.

We protect accounts with two-step sign-in for administrators, invite-only account creation, single active sessions, role-based access and an audit trail of important actions. Every request is checked against the institution the data belongs to.

We keep an institution’s data for as long as it uses ClassSynk and as required by law. Parents, students and staff can ask their institution to access, correct or delete their information, and we help institutions respond.
